The Role
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Lead the delivery of high-quality Workday Financials advisory and delivery projects
Provide specialist advice in Workday Financials and work closely with client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of Workday.
Contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal, and contract / commercial negotiations with our Workday clients
Help towards the growth of the Workday Financials Capability through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership and supporting the career aspirations of team members
Have functional expertise of the latest Workday Financials solutions and integration to other systems/modules
Advise on technical integration of the Workday Financials application with other client and 3rd party tools/applications
Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following:
Demonstrable experience of multiple end-to-end Workday Financials implementations within a Consulting environment.
Functional expertise and knowledge of Workday Financials processes and configuration in multiple areas such as Order to Cash (Receivables, Cash Management and Collections), Projects to Results (Costing and Billing), Acquire to Retire (Assets), Source to Pay (Sourcing, Procurement, Payables and Payments), Record to Report, Plan to Perform)
An understanding of the key finance business issues/drivers that result in clients pursuing transformation programmes.
Experience of multiple industry sectors (e.g. Media, Services, Retail, Insurance, Local Government etc.).
A background in designing and delivering end-to-end business processes across multiple process areas
An understanding of the functional, application and technical architectural elements of an ERP programme.
Should be able to independently run client workshops to drive design decisions and system demonstration in both an in person and remote delivery mode.
Experience of Financial concepts (required for Cloud ERP Implementation projects)
Experience to drive the technical deliverables such as Data migration principles & Integration Design (mainly from functional perspective)
Experience of operating and implementing in a cloud environment and understanding the impacts of implementing and operating on the cloud versus on premise.
Experience producing project deliverables (business requirements, functional specs, configuration document, process flows, use cases, requirements traceability matrices etc.)
