Your Mission
As a Data Engineer at Captiv8, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that support our analytics, reverse ETL, and data science initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and cost-effective.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines to process, transform, and store data from various sources.
- Utilize tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, ClickHouse, or similar for data storage and management.
- Employ ingestion tools like Airbyte, Fivetran, or Stitch to move data across systems efficiently.
- Leverage transformation tools like dbt, Spark, or Dataform to prepare data for analysis and machine learning.
- Integrate version control systems like GitHub or GitLab into the data engineering workflow.
- Ensure that all data-related solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and suggest improvements to our tech stack.
Qualifications You'll Bring
- Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines using those above or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of data storage, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with version control systems and best practices in software development.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
