Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Financial Transactions: Process, record, and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, cash disbursements, billings, and cash receipts.
  • Support Month-End and Year-End Closings: Assist with closing processes, supervise collections, and review fixed assets, sales and use taxes, personal property taxes, and franchise taxes.
  • Prepare Accounting Entries: Handle day-to-day and month-end close entries, including payroll administration, fringe benefits, investment allocations, and grant allocations.
  • Understand Client Operations: Develop a solid understanding of each assigned client’s accounting operations and obtain proficiency with their accounting software packages.
