Job Overview

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations for multiple locations. In this position, you’ll lead and mentor a remote team of bookkeepers, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained. Responsibilities include handling payroll processing, managing communications with location directors, and maintaining comprehensive financial records. We are seeking a candidate with at least two years of bookkeeping experience and a proven track record in team management and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support a remote team of bookkeepers
  • Accurately record financial transactions and manage ledgers
  • Process payroll and handle weekly invoices
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records
  • Manage vendor payments and aged accounts receivables
  • Handle wage garnishments, adjustments, and mileage billing
  • Review and process journal entries and payroll notes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Experience in management, training, and supervision
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • Experience with payroll processing and invoice management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to pass a background check
