Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our Pharmacy Department. In this remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from any location while managing the financial operations that support our commitment to high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be critical in overseeing revenue cycles, medical billing, claims, and denials. Additionally, you will handle month-end and year-end close processes, prepare aging reports, and develop cash flow projections. This position demands a strong background in data analytics and business strategy, with specific experience in the 340B drug pricing program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations of the Pharmacy Department, including revenue cycle management, medical billing, claims processing, and handling denials.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify trends and areas needing improvement.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow projections, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Optimize financial resources to enhance patient care outcomes.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the 340B drug pricing program and maximize its benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management within the medical industry, particularly in pharmacy operations.
  • Proven expertise in revenue cycle management, medical billing, claims processing, and handling denials.
  • Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze aging reports and develop cash flow projections.
  • Experience in financial management roles that support patient care services.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and business strategy.
  • Familiarity with the 340B drug pricing program.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
