About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Analyst to join our Insurance Finance Management team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and executing strategies to meet team and organizational goals. You will leverage data-driven insights and collaborate with various teams to develop and implement effective strategies. Your work will involve partnering with leadership to address challenges, formulate long-term strategies, and contribute to key organizational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop actionable recommendations for senior executives, combining data-driven analysis with business insights to influence pricing decisions and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams to create and execute a successful portfolio strategy for each market.
  • Analyze profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to guide strategic decisions across the organization.
  • Build and maintain models and tools that provide valuable business insights, including membership scenario modeling.
  • Create and support activity-based financial models to advance finance and business strategic initiatives.
  • Present intra-year membership analytics to leadership to assess business health and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4+ years) in a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, market development, finance, or a similar area.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including experience with model building, report generation, large dataset analysis, and advanced features like pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
  • Experience in synthesizing data findings and creating effective data visualizations.
  • Proven ability to conduct data and financial analyses, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive opportunities for growth and profitability.
  • Experience preparing presentation materials for senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, with a strong understanding of the provider/payer market, particularly in the ACA marketplace.
  • Background in management consulting, market research, or data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Tableau.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base salary: \(76,800 - \)100,800 per year.
  • Eligible for employee benefits, including participation in an unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
  • Benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, and wellness time and reimbursements.
