About The Role

Are you passionate about the dynamic intersection of healthcare and digital innovation? We’re looking for a Freelance Digital and Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Chief Information Officer and collaborate with creative, medical, and client teams to create engaging digital experiences for both patients and healthcare professionals. As we launch our first Innovation Lab, you’ll have the opportunity to explore emerging trends, best practices, and work alongside some of the brightest minds in science, AI, and art. This position offers great potential for growth based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy: Partner with clients and internal teams to craft comprehensive digital strategies that align with their goals and objectives.
  • Social Media Management: Create and manage engaging content across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram to boost brand visibility and foster community engagement.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling content, including posts, graphics, videos, and multimedia assets tailored for specific social media channels and audiences.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and proactively engage with followers to build relationships and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use Google Analytics and Look Studio to track key metrics, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including paid social ads, influencer partnerships, and content amplification strategies.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary digital contact for clients, offering regular updates, progress reports, and strategic recommendations to ensure alignment with their goals.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing and social media to keep our services innovative and effective.

Must-Haves

  • At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing and social media, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis with skills in Google Analytics and the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle technical challenges creatively.
  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in the impact of digital innovation on healthcare.
  • Collaborative spirit with excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A growth mindset with a desire to learn and stay current with industry trends.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva for internal social media banners, email templates, etc.
  • Experience with Mailchimp for lead generation campaigns.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Certifications such as HubSpot Inbound Marketing, Google, or Meta Blue.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, PR & Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing digital marketing and social media campaigns, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content management systems, and digital analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for interpreting data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovative digital strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
