What you will do

We are looking for a seasoned Securitized Products Investment Professional to join our team.  The incumbent will be responsible for thoroughly understanding our investment process, strategy, positioning, and outlook.  They will also become proficient in our risk management process and understand how portfolio construction works across our diverse strategies and clients. Moreover, this person will accompany our institutional, consultant and retail sales team on prospecting calls as well as final presentations. They will conduct portfolio reviews/updates for clients, including portfolio commentary, and will understand the specific client mandates and speak to separate account nuances in the context of the overall performance of varying securitized product sectors.  

This position will report to the Co-Heads of Securitized Products. It will be performed in a hybrid manner with a mix of work performed from our office in Newark, NJ and remotely. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees meet with their team in the office on set days of the week and can work remotely the remainder of the week. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration and may be required during group specific events (Town Halls, etc.).  

What you can expect

  • In close partnership with the Product Strategy group, incumbent  will  guide the Competitor Analysis/Product Positioning process. 

  • Act as a resource for RFP responses or presentation slides.

  • Participate in speaking engagements at conferences.

  • Work with account manager in investment guidelines negotiations.

  • Delivery of product specific client training to client service, marketing, and sales teams

  • Presenting the investment thesis and positioning to internal and external stakeholders

What you will bring

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing Securitized Products portfolios at a mid to large size asset manager with a meaningful client base.

  • Excellent communication, client relationship management, and marketing/sales skills.

  • Understanding of CLO, CMBS, RMBS and ABS investments across US, Europe and Australia a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or CFA preferred

What will set you apart

  • Experience in consumer, esoteric and/or commercial ABF / ABS

  • Significant experience with portfolio construction and management along with a sales and marketing background

The salary range for this role is from $200,000 to $225,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
