Project Manager
BASED IN FRANCE
Must speak FRENCH and ENGLISH

This is a long term temporary role, with a rolling end date.
Remote, with some travel around Europe.
We will employ you either through a temporary contract via a trusted recruitment agency partner, or as a contractor via your own limited company.

As Project Manager, your role will be to continue to implement the program in compliance with deadlines, quality and costs. 
Your role is to bring together all of the aspects of an expansion project. 

Your day-to-day will include project management, reporting to the senior leadership team, stakeholder management, weekly reporting, identifying and mitigating risks.
Although each section of the program has their own leadership, as Project Manager, you will coordinate all of the teams and the various flows of information to report back on where we are with every aspect of the project.
The role calls for very good administration and organisation skills, strong document control, good use of excel, and ability to manage each part of the process with regards to finances, documentation, and reporting.
 

DUTIES

  • Track, schedule, monitor, analyse and occasionally adjust or correct parts of the program through consultation with stakeholders
  • Coordinate between program workstreams. This includes fleet built, plant adaptations, commercial, finance.
  • Support the workstream leaders.
  • Monitor toll gates 
  • Monitor finances and budgets through stakeholder consultation 
  • Ensure that the Program is delivered on time, to time, quality and cost
  • Supervise and coordinate third parties and suppliers
  • Ensure that the supply chain and supporting services are in place and ready for service delivery by completion of program milestones through collaboration with the dedicated workstream leaders
  • Ensure appropriate and best practice is in place for the full life cycle of the programme 
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and reporting
  • Report to the programme governors and programme stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and legislative requirements
  • Be responsible for the proper execution of the entire investment programme
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and opportunities
  • Keep leadership up to date
  • Challenge to understand current status
  • Be visible to the teams at all times
  • Plan and stick to a communication program

In this role, you will be working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, Service Centers, Finance, HR, and Sales.
Externally, you will build working relationships with local authorities and suppliers.

 

Qualifications
  • Degree/background in an engineering or science environment
  • Project Management experience that includes expansion projects
  • Excellent IT tools - especially Google suite savvy
  • Strong experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Significant experience in the management of budgets and expenditure 
  • Proven experience of working with and managing third parties and suppliers, including contracting and performance maintenance
  • Fluent English AND French
  • Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Networking (internal and external)
  • Ability to partner with and influence senior management
