Join us as a Senior DevOps Engineer in Helsinki. You should be able to visit the office in Helsinki when needed. Ideally, this would be a hybrid opportunity, but remote working from anywhere in Finland can be considered.
You will join the Observability team which forms part of the Cloud Platform department! In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our state-of-the-art observability platform, ensuring seamless CI/CD integration, robust infrastructure automation, and real-time system monitoring to elevate our enterprise solutions. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for observability platform development. We have low amount of bureaucracy and strong focus on autonomous work and getting things done.
What you will be doing:
- Help teams at RELEX monitor the availability and performance of their services by developing and maintaining our internal observability platform.
- Automate systems using Gitlab, deploy and operate Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Aid our users in getting the most out of the platform by responding to support requests.
- If you want to go deeper into development, you can contribute to our internal and open-source tools and self-service portals using Go and JavaScript.
Minimal requirements:
- 5 years of experience on DevOps or SRE position
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure
- 3 years of experience with Gitlab pipelines in DevOps role
- 3 years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm and containerization technologies
- 3 years of experience with Linux
- 3 years of experience with Terraform
- Ability to work independently, maintain quality of your work and help more junior team members
Skills considered as an advantage:
- Microsoft Azure Cloud certification
- Work experience in an international environment
- At least 3 years of experience related to deploying, maintaining and using Observability services and tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, VictoriaMetrics, Azure Monitoring, Honeycomb, etc.)
- At least 2-3 years of experience of coding in any programming language
- At least 2 years of experience with Golang
- At least 2 years of experience with Ansible
- Open-source contributions, especially to observability tools
- Experience with Terraform Cloud
- Experience with GitHub
