Job Description Summary
Reporting to PT Material & Inventory Leader.
The PT Process & Continuous improvement Engineer is responsible for framing and supporting the standards implementation to ensure a sustainable, structured & efficient support to the material and planning community.

Job Description

1-Responsible for structuring & coordinating the existing material & planning processes.

  • Collect the needs from the plants, all the existing documents, processes from the different sources and map what we already have and find a “smart” solution to store and share it with the community.
  • Analyze & consolidate all the existing documents available as a basis for future process creation & update.
  • Keep updated the QMS (Quality Management System) to ensure compliance.

2-Responsible for framing all the standards needed to ensure a sustainable, structured & efficient support to the material community of about 285 users in topics such including Material & Planning processes, SAP transactions, Digital tools as MOS.

  • Lead process Analysis to then develop and frame the standards where necessary through guidelines, technical instructions, SAP transactions & standards across Material & Planning in collaboration with the material teams & the local plants.
  • Responsible for overseeing, managing & maintaining all the Material & Planning processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality using a Lean Process implementation – Simplifying and eliminating waste.
  • Sharing best practices and standardize it when necessary. 
  • Some examples of Standard Work Instructions needed:
    • PO Management standards including a welcome package training for all the new people
    • MOS Guidelines
    • Lean material workbook to manage material from procurement to workstations delivery

3-Responsible for creating and maintaining standard dashboards & KPI for Material & Inventory management team.

Qualifications / Requirements

Educational Requirements

Master degree in engineering, PM, Supply chain management, business from an accredited university or

college

• 5+ year Experience in Supply chain operations, Material & Inventory Management
