We’re looking for a business analyst. If you’re a top-notch business process consultant with experience in the utilities sector, we want to talk to you! And we’d be over the moon if you have client-facing experience in a professional services firm.

E Source provides predictive data science, research and advisory, and solution services to help utilities make decisions that benefit their customers, their bottom line, and our planet.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• May develop and maintain data models for what-if analysis and for other business purposes and effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and leadership
• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
• Collaborate with project manager and others to build a comprehensive implementation project plan with all tasks defined
• May manage small and midsize projects
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users

What will make you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree with specialization in business, computer sciences, information systems, IT, or other computer-related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of three years of experience of relevant consulting or industry experience within the utilities sector: electric, energy, engineering and construction, or gas
• Strong business understanding to ensure that technical requirements align with business operations
• Creative problem-solving skills to develop solutions
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to justify any business changes
• Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver findings and recommendations to various levels of management
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Benefits

The budgeted salary for this position is $65,000 - $110,000 USD + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

This role will be remote when not traveling to client site and has a travel expectation of up to 80% (typically Mon-Thurs).
