Collections agent

We are currently looking for a Collections agent that can work in eastern hours from 9am-5pm EST. 

The Collections Agent will be responsible for the timely collection of rents from tenants and the accurate maintenance of accounts receivable reports within our Appfolio real estate platform.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Rent Collection: Efficiently collect monthly rents, ensuring timely payments and minimizing delinquencies.

•  Financial Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate accounts receivable reports using Appfolio.

•  Tenant Communication: Engage with tenants to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.

•  Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of all collection activities and communications.

Qualifications:
•  Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role.

•  Familiarity with real estate platforms, specifically Appfolio.

•  Strong communication and negotiation skills.

•  Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

•  A team player with a strong work ethic.
