The IIOT Presales Engineer plays a key role in understanding client needs and converting them into technical and commercial proposals. They use smart and creative strategies to include a variety of data into their all-inclusive solution offerings. This consultant supports the Business Development and SME teams by understanding both the technical and business requirements. In addition to understanding client needs, they must also provide strategic solutions, solution architectures, MES module write-ups, and other materials.
The key vertical areas of focus include Smart City, Smart Industries, Smart Infrastructure and Energy and Utility.
On the technology front, the role specializes in Cloud-based Devices, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), Energy and Utility technologies, and ERP Integration.
Key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role involve Sales and Order Intake, as well as acquiring new customers.
Duties:
Translate the business needs of the customer into technical and functional specifications.
Make sure that integrated solutions combining several partner offers include our essential IIoT services.
Construct solution architectures that meet the needs of the client and obtain insights from relevant product subject matter experts.
Design end-to-end OT/IT solutions encompassing various systems and applications.
Create microservices solution architectures by analyzing business requirements and taking timeliness, cost, resource, and performance into account.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with regional sales and customers, offering solution consultations to enhance our chances of success.
Create presentation materials for customers based on technical and business needs.
Have a strong sense of persuasiveness, be adept at persuading, and be able to influence users while communicating the commercial value.
5 years' experience in Solution and Proposal Engineering within the domains of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
Proficient hands-on experience in developing solutions for Smart City and Smart Industries.
Proficient hands-on experience in Energy and Utility sectors.
Expertise in integrating MES with ERP systems.
Proficient in proposal Management and Stakeholder Engagement.
Well-established network of System Integrator partners and Suppliers to facilitate turnkey delivery, particularly in Key Vertical Focus areas.
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey business value persuasively and influence stakeholders.
Proficient in agile methodology.
Proficiency in Japanese language, equivalent to N2/N3 level.
