Job Responsibilities:
● Script Development: Provide comprehensive script outlines to guide writers in crafting compelling story arcs and character development within the love genre. Review and thoroughly edit episodes submitted by writers, ensuring they meet our narrative standards and emotional depth.
● Moderation: Moderate the writer's room, hold script outline discussions, and check consistency in the writing style of multiple writers.
● Creative Direction: Work closely with the audio production team, offering creative feedback on sound design to enhance the storytelling experience. Ensure that the sound design aligns with the narrative's emotional tones and thematic elements.
● Script Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards for content quality, overseeing the editing process to ensure clarity, coherence, and engagement in every episode. Title episodes in a manner that captivates and intrigues the target audience.
● Audio Quality Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments of audio recordings to ensure clarity and superior technical quality. This includes listening for and identifying any discrepancies or imperfections within the audio content.
● Compliance and Standards: Guarantee that all audio materials adhere to both the latest industry standards and our internal quality guidelines. This responsibility includes a comprehensive understanding of current audio quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
● Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between multiple writers, sound engineers, and production teams. Provide constructive feedback and creative direction to enhance storytelling and audio quality.
● Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of the latest audio storytelling and the love genre trends, incorporating innovative approaches and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
● Promotional Support: Assist in crafting captivating promotional materials for audio stories, ensuring they appeal to our target demographics and accurately represent the content's emotional and thematic core.
Qualifications:
● Expertise in writing and editing, specializing in the love genre, preferably in the audio industry.
● A critical ear with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle audio issues..
● Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and teamwork.
● Experience in working with multiple writers or moderating writer's rooms and guiding script development is essential.
● Experience working on long-form content is a must with around 500 episodes/parts.
● Deep understanding of the love genre, with the ability to engage target demographics.
● Exceptional command of the Hindi language, including storytelling techniques and scriptwriting.
● Familiarity with audio production processes, sound design, and the technical aspects of bringing audio narratives to life.
● Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage creatively and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
● A genuine love for audio storytelling and a nuanced grasp of the emotional layers within love stories.
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, Creative Writing, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a creative editing role, with a significant portion dedicated to love genre content, preferably within the audio industry
