We're looking for someone who understands YouTube video editing best practices, is deadline-oriented, detail-focused, and thrives in a remote role. The ideal candidate is creative, passionate about learning, and always up-to-date with the latest trends in video content.

Responsibilities:

• Platform-Specific Video Creation: Create innovative and visually appealing videos optimized for YouTube.
• Engaging Content Creation: Design and edit video content that captivates viewers within the first few seconds, effectively increasing watch time and engagement.
• Footage Integration: Seamlessly integrate various types of footage (e.g., internally produced, stock footage) to create a cohesive and engaging narrative.
• Text & Animation: Implement compelling text overlays and animations to enhance the video's message. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects to create animations is a significant plus. Utilize CapCut to create innovative and visually appealing videos.
• Sound Design: Craft impactful sound design, including selecting and integrating music tracks and sound effects that amplify viewer engagement and complement the visual narrative.
• Target Audience Connection: Understand and implement video editing techniques that resonate with our target audience and align with our channel's style and objectives.
• Collaboration: work closely with the content creation team to align on video objectives and creative direction.

Requirements

• Experience in editing videos, making ones for YouTube, social media or documentaries are a plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as other video editing software such as CapCut and Adobe After Effects
• A strong portfolio showcasing your best video edits for social media and/or documentaries that show your ability to visually tell a story
• Strong skills in sound design and audio editing for YouTube videos
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for storytelling through visuals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
• Understanding of YouTube trends, best practices, and the evolving nature of digital video consumption
• Creative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement in video editing techniques

Salary:

• €1,000 - €2,000 EUR/per month based on experience (after taxes)
