The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is functioning in an efficient and effective manner throughout the organization. This individual will manage the storage, organization of goods, and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations.  

Location: Sparks, NV  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and related customer services
  • Responsible for directing and coordinating the full order cycle
  • Negotiate and liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
  • Resolution of problems and complaints as they arise
  • Will be expected to meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
  • Responsible for arranging warehouse, cataloging goods, planning routes, and shipment processing
  • Tasked with tracking quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
  • Responsible for reporting and maintaining metrics. Will include data analyzation to assess performance
  • Identify inefficiencies and optimize order cycle processes
  • Will be required to comply with all laws, regulations, and ISO requirements

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in a relatable field or an AS with 3+ years of practical experience in logistics management.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Proficiency in using standard logistics software programs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning systems and processes quickly
  • Exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities, competing priorities, and challenges with optimal levels of quality and efficiency reflective of SolarEdge’s excellence standards
  • Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with employees, teams and peers within a warehouse and logistics environment which includes excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Flexible, adaptive, comfortable with multi-tasking, fast changing, sometimes chaotic but fun, high growth environment
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 10%

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in Nevada at the start of employment is expected to be between $85k - $100k. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. 

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
