Sales Development Representative

About the Company

Cornerstone Billing Solutions is the leading provider of comprehensive billing services and powerful account management software for security alarm dealers nationwide. Our software, specifically for alarm companies, automates 100% of recurring billing, provides service, quoting, collections, CRM software and more.

As a Sales Development Representative you will be a key player in driving sales by prospecting for new leads, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for the sales team.

Location: Remote (Fox Lake, Illinois)

Overview

This role combines sales development and customer success. You'll prospect for new business, nurture leads, and train new customers on our software. Additionally, you'll maintain our CRM, analyze sales data, and collaborate with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for building relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research and find high-potential companies for outreach calls each week.
  • Conduct outbound calls to a targeted list of prospects, combining existing leads and researched cold call contacts.
  • Set appointments with potential customers for the Business Development Manager to follow up with.
  • Review the CRM sales pipeline and qualify leads that have not been contacted within a specific period, providing suggestions for outreach.
  • Maintain accurate and complete data within the CRM by researching and filling out missing information for existing companies.
  • Ensure monthly reports on leads, pipeline, and marketing activities are organized and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to review recent dealer complaints/questions and determine the best course of action.
  • Identify under-utilized services amongst existing dealers and explore upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct regular check-in calls with dealers to address any concerns, promote dealer toolkit initiatives, and ensure effective communication.
  • Train new customers on the company software and services as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or a related field. Alarm industry experience/B2B sales is a plus
  • Have completed a formal sales training course. (Sandler sales a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Bigin a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
