Your missions

 

The International Sales Operations Specialist role primarily involves managing and coordinating the order fulfillment process between customers, sales teams, and a third-party logistics provider (3PL) in Canada. The responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, timely deliveries, and effective communication between all parties involved. The person in this role would also need to monitor inventory levels and collaborate with various departments to address any discrepancies, delays, or low inventory issues. This position reports directly to the Sr Director of International Sales Operations with a dotted line to the Canada Managing Director.

What you'll be doing:

  • Communicate directly with the customer and sales lead regarding their orders, delivery dates, and special requests, and servers as main point of contact for customers, sales team, and 3PL provider.
  • Enter & monitor customer sales orders and confirm accurate delivery details to the customer via customer portal and/or email, along with the sales lead and ensure the company ERP, 3PL, and customers portal (if applicable) is continually up to date with the latest delivery information.
  • Verify the availability of all items on customer orders, ensuring requested item quantities are properly scheduled and confirmed via an order acknowledgment to avoid complaints and issues, communicating any discrepancies and escalating as needed.
  • Update fulfillment dates for all domestic items as planned due to production or incoming shipment delays and provide the updated information to the sales lead by working with the overseas team and US logistics team to ensure production and shipments runs smoothly and on time, in addition to incoming inventory being booked and delivered to the 3PL to avoid detention.
  • Make sure sales and planning are aligned to any low inventory items and new production needs to guarantee ship dates.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related field preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Prior experience in order management or scheduling                                            
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to building strong customer relationships and deliver sales and customer-centric solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively including working with others to meet shared objectives
  • Communicates effectively and professionally, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates integrity, with the ability to build trust and confidence
  • Proficient in G Suite & Microsoft Office - Familiarity with spreadsheets, presentations, documents, email, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Exceptionally organized
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner 

 

Preferred Qualifications                                                                                    

  • 2+ years of domestic or 3PL order processing and distribution experience
  • Retail link experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Canada retailers and requirements huge plus
  • Intercoms shipping knowledge highly preferred
  • Multilingual a plus (English/French)

  • Schedule: Typically requires regular office hours, but may require calls with global counterparts outside of regular office hours
