Our core values are at the heart of all we do: connect with empathy, center equity, get it done together, and reflect and evolve.

Why you should join our team:

  • Our work is transforming the way people in pain access support at their fingertips
  • Our work is innovative in the crisis response space
  • Our dynamic, fun, and diverse culture
  • Our meaningful cause, led by empathy and innovation

  • Our commitment to engagement and belonging
  • Our commitment to our employees and their holistic wellbeing
  • Our  value of work/life balance
  • Our growth mindset and prioritize professional development

What you'll be doing:

The Business Development team is responsible for supporting the financial sustainability of the organization. This team acquires and retains partnerships with corporations, foundations, donors, and other key stakeholders. Similarly, they develop strategies to diversify our revenue streams and deliver critical impact to our financial supporters. The partnerships we foster enable Crisis Text Line to help people in their greatest moments of need.

As Partnerships Manager, you will provide best-in-class account management to a portfolio of corporate partners with the goal of retaining and growing the revenue of these partners. Additionally, you will lead efforts in converting and managing new smaller ("growth") corporate partners coming from inbound outreach. As time and bandwidth allow, you will also prospect for and acquire new smaller ("growth") corporate partners via outbound outreach.

You will join an amazing Corporate Partnerships team to ensure our partners see the value in collaborating with Crisis Text Line, identify and execute strategic partnership initiatives to grow our impact together, and work with partners to ensure their communities get the mental health support they need.

Responsibilities:

Crisis Text Line is a fast moving, growing organization with a big vision and a critical mission. To serve our mission and vision, each role must be agile and flexible to meet the needs of the business, aligning daily work with business priorities as defined by managers and team leaders.

    • Identify and execute strategic initiatives that align with partners’ goals and priorities to deepen alignment and maximize our impact together.
    • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with other internal departments to align and execute on deliverables for your portfolio of corporate partners.
    • Ensure we follow through with all elements of our partnerships agreements, and that all funds are received from partners in a timely manner.
    • Lead and close partnership renewals for your portfolio of accounts.
    • Consistently manage your growth partner accounts in Salesforce by providing regular status updates, adding opportunities and accounts, and tracking progress.
  • Lead efforts in converting and managing new smaller ("growth") corporate partners coming from inbound requests to the Business Development department.
    • Manage business development process for inbound growth partners from start to finish (initial response to contract execution).
    • Prepare relevant materials for prospects such as partnership decks and proposals.
    • Identify strategic trends for current and new accounts to optimize our success in managing, growing, and acquiring partnerships.
    • Work with the Director of Brand Partnerships to scale and expand growth partnerships by identifying and pursuing new strategic opportunities.
  • As time and bandwidth allow, you will prospect for and acquire new smaller ("growth") corporate partners via outbound outreach.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in a partnerships account management or business development role focused on corporations or social impact partnerships.
  • Excellent relationship manager with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced in pitching, writing proposals, and creating presentation materials that align with partners’ strategic goals.
