Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of year end workpapers – this includes reviewing transactions for each account to ensure they are coded correctly in compliance with regulatory standards and adjust as necessary. 
  • Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of RE, notes to FS) 
  • Preparation of year end adjusting entries. 
  • Double checking uploaded documents and requesting any missing info for year-end support.  
  • Exporting year-end uploads from client from Karbon to OneDrive for documentation. 
  • Exporting reports from QuickBooks clients for import in Xero for preparation of year end workpapers and financials. 
  • Preparation of Corporate tax return using Tax Cycle. (tax software). 
  • Minimal bookkeeping tasks (Xero)- bank reconciliation, AR and AP review.
