Job Overview:

ISN is seeking a high energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented WMS Developer with strong knowledge of the Korber HighJump software platform to join our IT team. As a WMS developer at ISN, you will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our Warehouse Management System’s capabilities using HighJump Advantage Architect, WebWise Page Editor, and SQL Server Management Studio. You will work on everything from creating new fulfillment center workflows in HighJump Advantage Architect and WebWise Page Editor to writing and tuning SQL stored procedures in the database. You will also be responsible for planning and releasing deployments of HighJump to production. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for concerns related to the WMS’s performance

In this role, you’ll be part of a technical team of varying levels of proficiency that is responsible for a variety of applications, system modules, and subsystems of medium to high complexity that are crucial to ISN’s business functions. Together the team is responsible for support, enhancements, and the administration of assigned applications or modules. You will consult with managers and system users on technical issues and provide resolution. Additionally, special projects and individualized systems studies may be assigned based on business needs.

 

Location: This role can be based in a work from home setting within the U.S. Based on business needs, we are accepting candidates from the following locations: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the HighJump WMS using tools such as: WebWise Page Editor, HighJump Advantage Architect workflows and SQL Server tables and stored procedures
  • Own tasks from inception to deployment with minimal direct supervision
  • Provide system support to our corporate supply chain team as well as our distribution centers across the U.S.; Must be flexible to respond to concerns from west coast facilities and during weekend work sessions to maintain continuity of workflow across the network
  • Contribute to the design and development process as part of a team
  • Provide direction to more junior team members as required
  • Collaborate with business partners on system requirements
  • Resolve issues and provide updates for the support desk (help desk)
  • Build relationships with peers and other teams to achieve objectives, maintain objectivity, and give and welcome feedback on technology, design and implementation decisions
  • Help plan and implement all actions required to deploy applications to production environment
  • Define the system requirements based on the functional and technical requirements of the applications being developed
  • Ensure that corporate policies and industry best practices are observed and followed in developed applications
  • Participate in/lead code review sessions
  • Provide troubleshooting and support to the development team

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum formal education required: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.BS in software development, programming, or similar is strongly preferred
  • Korber’s HighJump certification is strongly preferred
  • A combination of education and work experience also eligible

Experience:

  • 5+ years of programming skills and a track record of delivering results
  • 5 years of experience implementing and/or supporting HighJump Warehouse Advantage WMS software, version 7.5, including use of: HighJump Advantage Architect, WebWise Page Editor and SQL Server for WMS
  • 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server, including ability to write queries, and/or stored procedures
  • Experience in writing, reading, tuning, and troubleshooting Structured Query Language (SQL) queries
  • Experience with translating business requirements into technical design documents using tools
  • WMS back-office support experience is a plus
  • Supporting integration between WMS and ERP; MasterPack experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed warehouse/distribution network

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience implementing and/or supporting LOCUS robotics
  • Loftware labeling software knowledge
  • Understanding of distribution operations processes
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
