Summary
The Senior Analyst, FP&A will support the FP&A team with relevant analysis and reporting. Our team is responsible for the production and distribution of key finance deliverables in addition to many ad-hoc analyses. This includes preparing annual business plans, consolidated quarterly forecasts, and monthly project reviews, analyzing financial performance to budget, and aiding in the preparation of material communicating this information to the FP&A managers.

The team is in need of a strong candidate to help in the analytical horsepower needed to drive business insights in these key finance deliverables and ad-hoc analyses. 

The ideal candidate has advanced financial modeling skills, experience with complex business analytics, and an ability to take complicated concepts and communicate those in a distilled format to executives and other senior stakeholders. The ability to use technology and build/develop strong processes is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of ad-hoc weekly and monthly reports for the FP&A management team to guide discussions with key stakeholders on changes in projects
  • Coordinate and prepare the material for a monthly project NPV reviews with the project management team in conjunction with the manager of FP&A.  
  • Translate operational changes into value metrics to guide decision making for projects under construction.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to analyze and report financial performance and business drivers in comparison to those assumptions.
  • Assist accounting & finance teams to ensure cohesive presentation of business plans and forecasts.
  • Analyze, review, & communicate the Company’s global metrics/key performance indicators as they are identified.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analytics & what-if/scenario analyses.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on system implementations to improve forecast/reporting processes, streamline workstreams, increase team productivity.

  • Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in finance or business operations at high-growth companies
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Significant FP&A, project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and improve processes and organizational design
  • Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once
  • Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • Highly Innovative problem solver: possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, and project planning skills, and demonstrating ability to meet aggressive deadlines
