Job Description:

The Sanitation Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the deep cleaning and sanitizing processes of food processing facilities. This role requires effective management of multiple sanitation crews, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The manager must coordinate logistics, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain detailed records for every job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee deep cleaning and sanitizing operations at food processing facilities.
  • Manage multiple sanitation crews, including their locations, task assignments, performance, and timekeeping.
  • Ensure that all cleaning jobs are executed correctly and completed in a timely manner.
  • Record required pictures and statistics for every cleaning job to ensure compliance and quality control.
  • Coordinate the staging and deployment of rental equipment and chemicals needed for each job.
  • Order and maintain the servicing of work trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Manage the inventory and refilling of necessary equipment and supplies on work trucks.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner.

Necessary Skills:

  • Strong communication skills for effectively managing teams and coordinating with facility management.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to ensure all jobs are properly scheduled and resources are efficiently utilized.
  • Proficiency in Excel for record-keeping and data management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food sanitation is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel 75% of the time.
