Job Summary

Working as part of the Artificial Intelligence Strategy & Development team, an AI Solution Lead will be responsible for driving the successful ideation, development, and implementation of strategically prioritized Applied AI products at The Standard. In this exciting role, you will coordinate teams that invent, build, and scale innovative AI solutions capable of shaping the future of our core operations as an enterprise. If you are passionate about applying various cutting-edge AI techniques together, including Generative AI, to revolutionize both business processes and customer experiences, then this role is for you!

In this individual contributor role, you will demonstrate experience with AI cross-functional product team leadership, AI product design, AI empowered operating model design, and stakeholder management. As an AI Solution Lead, you will build and lead solution teams that are composed of data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, digital product managers, UX designers, and business subject matter experts. This cross functional team will be chartered to design forward-leaning technical solutions that combine various computational methods (ML, DL, GenAI, Optimization, RPA, Computer Vision, logical rule sets, etc.) that run on a modern AI/ML DevOps infrastructure.

This role is the first-of-its-kind at The Standard and represents an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of what responsible and ethical AI can achieve within the financial services industry and The Standard. Skills and Background You'll Need 

EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of professional technology experience, with experience contributing to team projects is required. An understanding of high-level requirements for cloud-based software applications, traditional AI/ML modeling techniques, and Generative AI systems is preferred.
  • Proven success in the design & delivery of forward leaning technical products specially built around various forms of advanced analytics is highly desired. Experience designing solutions that combine various AI methods/tools (ML, DL, Optimization, RPA, OCR, GenAI, classification, etc.) is highly preferred. Applied experience with Confluence and Jira. Proven success in contributing to the design and delivery of technical products, especially those built around various forms of advanced analytics.
  • Experience in cross-functional team leadership & collaboration is highly desired.
  • Ability to translate technical/data science/business perspectives for a non-technical audience is preferred. Experience managing projects at all different scales is preferred.
  • A PMP (Project Management Professional certification) is preferred.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

 

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$104,750.00 - $178,000.00
