As an AIOps engineer lead, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering cross-domain AI and AIOps solutions in Enterprise Technology Services to establish and advance the adoption of AI (artificial intelligence) and AIOps strategies for operational excellence. You'll work across different infrastructure and operations domains as well as other enterprise organizations to coordinate, design, experiment and contribute to the roadmaps for adoption of AI and AIOps to advance our capabilities to help fuel Progressive business goals. In this role, you'll develop and maintain AI operations infrastructure, implement automation and orchestration tools, and monitor AI systems performance and troubleshoot issues. This role will have you collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance AI capabilities, ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. In addition, you'll contribute financial requirements to planning, budgeting, and governance activities to advance AI and AIOps implementation. You’ll also contribute to the development and maintenance of aligned roadmaps for AI and AIOps while also upholding performance, capacity, availability, and service quality of implemented solutions.

This is a remote position for US based work only. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm EST or CST.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
  • In lieu of degree, minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven experience in AI/ML operations and tools including machine learning, data analytics, and monitoring tools
  • Experience with Splunk, SPL, Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI), and Splunk Machine Learning Tool Kit (MLTK)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation technologies and techniques including Python, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and StoneBranch UAC
  • Experience with data pipelines utilizing Snowflake and Cribl; experience with AWS (S3 and SNS), API integration platforms, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience using AIOps monitoring tools to determine root cause of incidents, improve code quality, detect anomalies, accelerate corrective actions, and compute cloud usage and increase capacities to support traffic growth

Compensation

  • $125,000-$150,000/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
