System Developer Analyst (Remote)

Full time, Costa Rica

Application Developer will be responsible for the development and support of our global applications. Working on multiple application development projects, you will apply your proficiency in development of solutions that meet requirements, meet quality expectations, and ensuring satisfied internal and external customers. In addition, you will be responsible to maintain effective relationship with internal/external customers.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications

  • Attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Demonstrate appropriate level of confidence and urgency in taking action.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Be able to work independently and/or in a team environment and also in absence of supervisor.
  • Must be able to take direction and well work with others.
  • Must be able to work under stress and show seriousness towards meeting deadlines.
  • Be able to read technical systems design and requirements document and converts it to code.
  • Ability to multi-task in order to support multiple projects.
  • Willing to provide Periodic off-hours production support.
  • Willing to work on any technology based on business needs.
  • Must have experience with source code management tools.

As a System Developer Analyst, you will

  • Designs, code tests and implements application systems to meet management objectives.
  • Keep supervisors informed about issues and status of the work.
  • Develop database stored procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to external and internal customers.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, and help develop policies and development guidelines.
  • Advance ability to think logically and analytically.
  • Skills in locating, organizing, manipulating, filtering, and presenting information.
  • Capability of problem solving - Anticipating, initiating and resolving general technical and functionality issues.
  • Periodic off-hours production support.

About You

  • 4 to 8 years of overall development experience, with at least 2 years of the following:
  • Net web application development in Windows environment.
  • SQL Server 2008 or higher.
  • Someone with lower experience but strong concept will be considered if they have for specific needs upon hiring manager’s approval.
  • 1+ yrs of systems level development using system level classes or system objects.
  • Any experience prior to DotNet must include object oriented – C++ background
  • Strong with OOP concepts and implementation of OOP.
  • Be proficient in development of DotNet languages including ASP.Net, C# or VB.Net, Web Services/Web APIs/WCF/MVC.
  • Exposure to Javascript, Angular, AzureDevOps and AWS development a big plus.
  • Must be able to understand and interpret class level design documents and code accordingly.
  • Use and maintain code and application libraries used by development staff.
  • Apply and have a proficient knowledge of application security standards.
  • Creates and contribute to technical specification documentation of development projects.
  • Respond to issue requests and maintain communications to submitter on progress of resolution.
  • BE/BTech Degree Or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering Or Application Development.
