We are seeking a highly skilled Lead/Chief Enterprise Security Architect to drive the evolution of legacy and advanced health IT digital architectures. This role requires exceptional proficiency in risk management, expert knowledge of enterprise architecture tools, and a solid ability to analyze and resolve complex issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and documenting IT systems, including network topologies, and excel in leading innovative solutions across diverse technological landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of IT architecture, including creating detailed diagrams and documentation of all IT system components, such as network topologies.
Digital Architecture Guidance: Advance the development of legacy and new health IT digital architectures, including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, VR/XR, 5G, PQC, and AI technologies.
Risk Management: Oversee all aspects of risk management, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
Tool Utilization: Demonstrate knowledge and use of Enterprise Architecture tools, guiding processes and products such as Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA).
Problem Analysis: Perform thorough analysis and research of complex problems and processes related to IT architecture.
Coordination and Review: Coordinate with program and project leaders to analyze system architectures during design reviews and throughout the conceptual design lifecycle.
Strategy Development: Identify and develop strategies to address requirements, risks, and issues.
Trade-off Analysis: Conduct detailed trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance considerations.
Issue Resolution: Quickly resolve issues and create practical architectural visions.

Qualifications
Extensive experience in designing and developing IT architecture, including creating diagrams and documentation of IT systems and network topology.
Proven success in advancing digital architectures, including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, VR/XR, 5G, PQC, and AI technologies.
Expertise in all aspects of risk management.
Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools and processes, such as SABSA.
Strong capability in analyzing complex problems and processes related to IT architecture.
Experience coordinating with program and project leaders and conducting design reviews.
Ability to develop strategies to address requirements, risks, and issues and perform trade-off analyses.
Demonstrated success in issue resolution and creating architectural visions.

Required:
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, or Network Systems Communications Management.
- Or 10 + years of additional relevant experience in IT Security may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements.

Security and Privacy Duties and Responsibilities
