The National Accounts Manager- West will be responsible for planning and implementing sales and promotional activity for assigned National Accounts. Aggressively promote products and services to increase sales in a very competitive marketplace.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop relationships at multiple levels at assigned National Distributor Accounts to align and support their growth and to promote GCA product portfolio
  • Responsible for driving all phases of campaigns - incentives, sell sheets, launch programs, tracking sales, -- incorporating efforts of GCA’s Product Managers, Field Sales, Marketing Communications, Sales Administration, Customer Service etc.
  • Working with distributor accounts’ Marketing Department to promote products by way of catalogs, flyers, package stuffers, invoice inserts, sample programs and target marketing programs
  • Working with accounts’ Sales/Customer Service Department to teach and train telemarketers how to sell GCA products against competition and utilizing both product knowledge and telemarketing skills. Keep all telemarketer reps updated on all GCA products
  • Work with accounts’ Purchasing Department to make sure they are taking part in any of GCA promotions related to account
  • Keep GCA field reps informed on all of each account’s promotion activity, promotion performance and future programs
  • Working with Warehouse and Returns
  • To inform management of developments with customers of any major sales/customer service concerns affecting the company. Is responsible for planning, developing and maintaining an ongoing expense budget and all promotion plans for the National Accounts
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of GCA products; the application of these products to dentist's problems (from a telemarketing view); the relative advantages and disadvantages of competitive products and the nature and specific forms of competitive products and promotions
  • Track customer contacts, activities, and sales results in CRM System
  • Strong analytic skills to forecast monthly/quarterly sales, customer KPIs, identify sales opportunities, track budgets, program ROI and customer/market performance,

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Applicants must reside in the West Region, which includes the following states: New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Washington, or Oregon
  • Prior sales experience with catalog- marketing and telemarketing
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook email required

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The National Accounts Sales Manager-West will travel 50%, with time spent at Distributor corporate offices, regional branches, dental offices and sales meetings as needed.
