Role Name: Senior Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm CST and Saturday - 7am - 12pm CST (1 hour unpaid breaks each day) - 50 hour week

Job Description

Lead our maintenance team as a Senior Bookkeeper  in this pivotal role. You’ll oversee a team of bookkeepers, ensuring top-notch service delivery while honing your leadership skills. This position blends financial expertise with people management, offering a unique opportunity to shape the success of our bookkeeping operations. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools like QuickBooks Online and Asana, collaborating with a global team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Review and approve workbooks before client submission
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to integrate new clients seamlessly
  • Assign clients to appropriate bookkeepers and manage workload distribution
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy in financial reporting
  • Occasionally communicate directly with clients via email or calls
  • Contribute to process improvements and team efficiency


Requirements
  • Accounting degree or equivalent experience in bookkeeping management
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proven experience in team leadership and training
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to handle diverse client portfolios across various industries
