The Role
DriveNets is seeking a highly experienced procurement professional who can operate very independently with minimal supervision and identify their own work without being assigned tasks, and who thinks strategically about managing the overall supply chain ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Supplier Management:
· R & D lab Purchasing support across DriveNets’ headquarters and subsidiaries
· Telecom equipment purchases and loaner agreements.
· Lab hardware procurement support.
· Operations support for planning and purchasing of department requirements.
· Add new suppliers using supplier survey and approved process.
· Establish and negotiate long-term agreements with suppliers for cost efficiency.
R & D lab support across DriveNets’ headquarters and subsidiaries:
· Indirect purchasing: Manage issuing purchase orders, negotiations & contracts with suppliers.
· Supports General Administration SW and systems negotiations and contracts.
· NDA, SOW, MSA (Master Service Agreements)- must have prior experience with these and interaction with finance and legal team.
· Support & maintenance agreements, execution, and completion with suppliers.
Software & tools Procurement:
Oversee procurement of software tools including:
· Manage software license procurement and contract negotiation and execution.
· Contract review and collaboration with internal customers, finance, and legal team.
· Networking, security, SAAS, systems software support for the organization
· Tracking renewals and suggesting alternative SW suppliers and/or distributors.
· Collaborate with IT on product roadmap and supplier consolidation.
· Service level agreements to support existing equipment.
Planning:
· Support Operations planning and forecasting.
· Interface with Sales, Commercial product and Engineering teams on consolidation of HW R & D forecast for internal customers and strategic partners.
Key Requirements:
· Be kind.
· Ability to identify and handle the priority technical and business situations as they surface and develop appropriate action plans.
· Clear communication skills across disciplines including engineering, product line management, operations, finance, marketing, and sales.
· Team player willing to collaborate and support the organization in a service role to the DriveNets team.
· Experience working with R&D in a lab environment supporting MSA's, SOW's. etc.
· Expertise in procurement and a solid understanding of an operations planning and forecasting ecosystem within a networking technology company.
· Experience in procurement, buying, or planning in the high-tech or network communications industry.
· Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
· Experience with network communications products or electronic components.
Technical and system experience requirements:
· Microsoft Excel high proficiency, Power BI report creation, NetSuite, Agile (or similar PDM system), Power Point, Sales Force.
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
· Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)).
