Responsibilities:
● Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
● Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
● Ensure proper observability of the production systems
● Assist with database and service performance tuning
● Collaborate with Development Engineers on impacts of new features
● Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
● Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks
Requirements:
● Minimum 2+ years Kubernetes
● Terraform
● GCP Cloud and multi-cloud experience preferred
● Container lifecycle
● Programming Go, Python or similar
● Database optimization
● Network level troubleshooting
Education and Experience:
• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1 year experience; or equivalent experience preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• GCP / GKE much preferred
