As our Infrastructure Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of the automation and analytics capabilities of the infrastructure operations team. You will be part of the team that develops Python automations to create or manipulate infrastructure in our on-premises and cloud environments.
Major Responsibilities:
Innovate and maintain IT Infrastructure automations
Infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code tools
Pipeline management including build and release automations
Conduct thorough end-to-end testing and documentation of processes
Build relationships with Support Groups and vendors to exceed internal customers expectations
Work with operational teams to identify opportunities for new automations
Mentor peers and share knowledge to bolster the team's technical expertise
Education Required:
Qualifications & Experience:
2+ years experience developing with Python
5+ years of work experience in IT Infrastructure support with a solid grasp of operational activities both in cloud and on-premises environment (Including recent hands-on work)
3+ years applying software development lifecycle techniques
3+ years leveraging DevOps techniques
Agile development experience
Experience with scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript and PowerShell and IaC tools like Ansible

Salary: Technical Services Analyst, Level C (Current CUPE 2024 rates)
$103,911.44 - $110,418.31 - $116,905.33 - $123,412.20 - $129,899.22

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
