We are looking for: 

Inside the Syensqo Information Systems (IS) entity, scope service delivery services and value creation for R&I, the experiment automation team deliver support services and solutions for automations requests coming from R&I laboratories WW.  An experiment automation solution is typically based on IT hardware and software able to drive instruments and equipment as part of an experiment with efficient HMI, security , recipes , automation control, advanced control loop and data collection capabilities.

 

The IT Syensqo Experiment Automation Expert will deliver:

  • Day to day support request and incident management for all Automations solutions already installed WW
  • New Automation request management : analysis, evolution, new installations, new needs
  • Solution lifecycle management : Version control , update management and rollout


We count on you for:

  • Business Continuity: be accountable for the good functioning of the automation solution in production.
  • Maintain knowledge (functional & technical) about the automation support activities.
  • Drive continuous support improvement in alignment with services rules definitions.
  • High of collaboration with other team member such as Service Owner and Technical lead.
  • Coordinate with business experts, IT experts and work together with the product architect.
  • Make sure  automation solutions are design with respect of compliance and security.
  • Knowledge Base Article management: new, review, clean-up related to technical guides and workaround related to automation scope. 

 

You will bring: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar environment such as R&I, Experiment Automation, Laboratory PC, Laboratory  Equipment, Instrumentation, Support and Design Activities
  • Strong business need understanding in formulation automation chemical domain
  • Any experience in technical software for automation
  • Exposure to interface and communication between workstation and the automation area
  • Data acquisition
  • Master the different communication protocols : Ascii, Modbus, OPC,...
  • Mastery of OPTO22, Eurothem Regulator, OPC servers
  • Fluent English & French would be an asset
  • Knowledge of 
    • Networks technologies
    • Workstation design and technology : Operating system, Software , Cybersecurity
    • Project Management of projects from design to roll-out.
  • Passionate about technology
  • Ability to recognize problems, develops solutions, and communicates effectively
  • Self-motivated, very good organizational skills
  • Handles multiple tasks efficiently
