Your missions

Who You Are:

You are a confident pre-sales solutions architect with at least ten (10) years of experience in network engineering and architecture.

You are equally skilled at articulating high-level technical concepts to business stakeholders as you are comfortable speaking in-depth with CIOs or line level engineers.  You can get down in the weeds of building BOMs or up at a high level talking about how technology enables business objectives.

You balance presentation ability with an intimate understanding of various business drivers, principles, and models related to requirements generation and solutions architecture to deliver optimal outcomes for your clients.

About The Role:

As a Senior Network Architect at Myriad360, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions using Juniper, Cisco, and Arista technologies. You will act as a go-to technical advisor, engaging with clients and account executives to provide consultative and authoritative guidance on network solutions that address immediate business needs and future architectural investments. Your role will involve:

  • Network Design and Architecture: Develop high-level and detailed network designs, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to align network strategies with business goals.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for network issues, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in networking technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance network capabilities.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs, develop proposals, and present technical solutions. Assist in pre-sales activities including RFP responses and product demonstrations.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and build strong relationships to support sales efforts.

Myriad360 solves client needs by exploring problem and solution spaces to deliver technological solutions for our customer base, including cloud builders, service providers, and enterprises globally. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include discovering, designing, and presenting solutions that address client needs while guiding their future architectural investments.

This role is accountable for:

  • Understanding client business needs through excellent communication and relationship management, and partnering with Account Executives in communicating to, building, and defending solutions for clients
  • Identifying client requirements and evolving client understanding of the market, products, and services
  • Developing enablement content and assisting in partner selection
  • The raw work of building solutions for clients (BOM, product comparisons, solution narrative, high-level architecture)
  • Providing cross-technology guidance across the whole solution stack, not just a narrow product line definition
  • Continually deepening knowledge of new technologies and vendors
  • Delivering a world-class experience to our clients
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
  • Other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in network engineering, operations, or architecture
  • Experience and certifications with Cisco and/or Juniper (CCIE/CCNP, JNCIE/JNCIP)
  • Breadth and depth of knowledge spanning the entire OSI layer stack – from bits on a wire to addressing to DNS to transport to application
  • Experience doing group facilitation
  • Aptitude for leading customer conversations
  • Client relationship management experience
  • Advanced time, expectation, and knowledge management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, technical writing, and diagramming skills
  • Technical fluency in network AND at least one of the following domains: security, cloud, storage, virtualization, compute
  • High level of fluency in systems/application requirements that drive network needs
  • Knowledge of multi-vendor environments and the challenges therein
  • Knowledge of field expedient networking/remote work tools such as: SSH, Ansible, VMs, VPN, tunnels, OOB management toolsets
  • Must be based in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior VAR and/or OEM
  • Basic account and sales management knowledge including familiarity with quota, GP, and rebate programs
  • Experience writing professional services scopes of work
  • A passion for systems development and optimization as it relates to internal process improvement
