This company develops and delivers market-leading software solutions and tools for law firms in Canada and the US. They not only save their customers significant time – but also transform how law firms collaborate within their own teams and engage with their customers.

2024 is an exciting year as they have expanded their product offerings and need more sales members to help the team continue their momentum. They are specifically looking for a Senior Account Executive to support their growth targets for this year and beyond.

They are a small, tight-knit team with strong collaboration, healthy competition, and a work environment that is challenging and rewarding. You will have the opportunity to gain mentorship from seasoned professionals in SaaS. They educate and empower their team so that they can complete tasks independently, and at the same time, they are there for you when you need help.

Their office is in downtown Vancouver, and they support flexible working options like working from home. Sales staff work mostly from home with the option of coming into the office to work or for social occasions via their Party Planning Committee events.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maintaining strong client relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Account Planning: Create and execute strategic account plans to achieve growth within existing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients, tailoring solutions to their specific needs.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Client Feedback: Gather and relay client feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and practices, with experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals and manage contract discussions.
  • Proficient in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to client satisfaction and success.
Bonus Points:
  • You’ve sold technology solutions or SaaS before.
  • You have experience in the Legal space (e.g., ex-legal professional).

Salary:

$110,000 - $160,000 OTE (uncapped commission)
