Position Summary: The Communications and Public Relations Manager will oversee and produce, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital/print materials and communication that supports FineMark’s high-quality brand, mission, extraordinary culture, and unique business model.
Essential Functions:
- Plans, creates, and distributes promotional, informational, and educational content such as articles, brochures, branding books, flyers, client letters, statement inserts, monthly client newsletters, LinkedIn and other social media posts, and other communication to build FineMark’s brand awareness and market presence.
- Proactively promotes new services; changes to existing services; FineMark events and activities; corporate milestones, as well as time-sensitive client messages (i.e., fraud alerts, office closures due to inclement weather or movements in economic markets, etc.).
- Reviews and edits client communications drafted by FineMark’s compliance and/or operational departments before it is distributed to ensure it aligns with FineMark’s culture and business model.
- Work closely with Market Presidents, where needed, to provide assistance with content and communications to increase brand awareness and promote market related events or communication.
- Manages and creates content for FineMark’s website working closely with the Creative Marketing Manager and outside vendors.
- Prepares and forwards press releases, arranges photography, and works with media to coordinate interview requests or press coverage.
- Works closely with FineMark’s Chief Investment Officer to review and promote the quarterly investment newsletter, as well as producing associated investment video calls for clients.
- Prepares the quarterly shareholder letters and annual reports.
- Responsible for media production to include serving as a professional moderator for both pre-recorded videos and live presentations for the benefit of clients and shareholders.
- Produces FineMark’s testimonial advertising to include working with the client, managing the written testimonial and arranging for photography.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance at the FineMark location designated in this job description, during regular business hours, or assigned hours for the position, is required. This is not a remote-work position

- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
- Ability to attend evening events and perform work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field required.
- A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
- A minimum of four years of experience planning, creating, and distributing promotional content and client communications from concept to completion, especially as it relates to social media.
- Prior management experience in a professional business environment preferred.

Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary.
Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
