Job Title: Public Relations Specialist

Location: Seattle WA 

Job Type: Full-time (hybrid)

Salary: 75,000.00 - 95,000.00 Annually 

Overview:

Our client, a well-established software company in the aerospace industry, is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to join their team. 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a HIGH ENERGY, skilled PR professional to develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies, manage social media presence, create engaging promotional materials, and coordinate public appearances and events. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance company and *new book launch visibility *(most important need)!

- Manage and grow social media presence across all platforms

- Create engaging promotional materials using latest software tools

- Craft press releases, articles, and content to attract media attention and public interest

- Leverage existing media contacts and industry influencers

- Coordinate public appearances, book signings, and promotional events

- Monitor and report on media coverage and PR campaign effectiveness

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field

- Proven PR experience, preferably in technology, aerospace, and business sectors

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns

- Proficiency in modern software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and current trends

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills

- Strong organizational and project management abilities

- High energy and travel flexibility

Required Skills:

- Experience with social media management platforms, (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr)
- Experience with Graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator)
- Video editing software (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
- Experience with social media platform analytics and insights, such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, X (Twitter) Analytics
