We are seeking an accomplished, highly competent, and motivated Sr. Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in cloud migration and modernization, FinTech, and Fortune 500 companies. The ideal candidate is proficient in program and engagement management, product transformation, and Agile coaching. They should be knowledgeable about the complete Software Development Life Cycle, application development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), infrastructure and cloud technology, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) processes.

The successful candidate will have the option to work a remotely from one of our offices in Dallas TX, San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA Shamburg IL, Denver, CO Dubuque, IA and ST. Cloud, MN.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinates the completion of all business activities/deliverables for all phases of a project.
  • Manages the project stringently to the six constraints of scope, schedule, cost, risk, resource and quality.
  • Ensures consistent and diligent use of project methodology, tools, templates, repositories (SharePoint), and portfolio/project management tools (PPM) by all project team members.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate completion of project deliverables including project charters, project schedules, communication plans, other plans, risks/issue logs, weekly status reports, BA deliverables, etc.
  • Assesses project team resource knowledge & skills and facilitates necessary training to bridge any gaps
  • Creates and maintains a detailed project schedule to include tasks, durations, resources assignments, percentage complete, and start/end dates, etc.
  • Conducts project meetings; documents and distributes meetings agendas and meeting minutes, tracks task status, tracks risk mitigation/issue resolution, etc.
  • Mitigates risk and resolves issues; escalates any critical risks/issues to the Project Sponsor or Steering Committee.
  • Documents and distributes weekly project status reports to key stakeholders, project sponsor and project team members.
  • Responsible is for coordinating the completion of all technical activates/deliverables for all phases of a project.
  • Communicate the program strategy and objectives to key stakeholders, project team resources and ensure that individual workstreams continually align with the overall business goals and objectives.
  • Collection of content from disparate sources, cleansing and consolidation of content, migration of content to Cetera’s content management system, and definition of ongoing sustenance and governance of content with clearly identified roles & responsibilities
  • Work with Cetera’s content team to identify stories needing updating and revisions, as well as formulating a workable content roadmap.
  • Coordination of multiple work-streams and identification of activities common to the workstreams to ensure that workstream leads do not duplicate work efforts across workstreams within the overall program.
  • Consolidation and reporting of accomplishments, milestones, risks, issues, decisions from individual workstreams at the program level to project sponsors / executive sponsors, steering committee, etc.
  • Establish an appropriate mechanism and tools for measuring the benefits of the program through well documented KPIs.
  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring team members are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Facilitate research to evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
  • Factor project operational considerations to update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation

What You Need To Have

  • You must possess a thorough understanding of digital development (design, engineering and QA) and the ability to facilitate dialog that represents Cetera's development efforts and methodologies.
  • You should also have strong understanding of interactive strategy, design, production and project management as well as digital marketing and accessibility. Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with outstanding program management and the ability to track multiple project deliverables and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to translate complex and varied inputs including data, user research, strategic direction, and broad industry research into compelling stories and actionable programs in order to identify feasible options and evaluate strategic trade-offs.
  • Experience developing credibility and rapport with key business partners, leading people and projects through influence, and a transparent, agile and data-driven approach to decision-making. A passion for digital innovation and commitment to superb client experience.
  • Self-sufficiency in web analytics and enterprise-level web analytics technologies, such as Adobe Analytics, to create analysis, reporting, and insights.
  • Strong knowledge base and experience developing or managing enterprise-level content strategy, channel standards, and/or content management systems is essential.
  • Similarly, knowledge of underlying technologies, industry standards and trends, and processes is highly desired. Specific experience with Drupal is a plus.
  • Experience with content distribution strategies and related technologies, including mobile apps, content APIs, etc., is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, project management software, etc., is highly desired.
  • Experience in a financial services/wealth management space and highly regulated environment is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $130,000 $175,000, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
