The Altria Group Distribution Company is currently offering an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students to join their Field Sales Force as Sales Interns. This 10-week Summer Internship Program provides interns with hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and the chance to make a difference in the industry. Here are the key details and requirements:


Job Description:

  • Sales Interns will work directly with a Sales Manager to drive business performance and develop client relationships.
  • Interns will receive on-the-job training, access to mentors, and participate in social and community service events.
  • Responsibilities include consulting and marketing programs to customers, developing innovative ways to increase business performance through data analysis and planning, and engaging in a team atmosphere.
  • Interns will also have the opportunity to develop and present a real business project to senior management.


Geographic Placements:

  • Interns will be assigned to various locations based on business need and geographic preferences.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must be undergraduate students in an accredited college/university, preferably rising seniors.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years is required, as driving is part of the position.
  • Any DUI/DWI conviction in the last 3 years will disqualify applicants.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work full-time within the United States without sponsorship.
  • Sales Interns must have the physical ability to lift, push, pull, reach, conduct overhead work, and carry bags and boxes as part of the sales activities (up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis; up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis; possibly up to 50 pounds on a seldom basis).
