We are looking for an experienced SSDI hearing advocate that is a great communicator who is customer-focused and excited by the prospect of working closely with a highly motivated team. Appeal Specialist's provide education and guidance to individuals at the appeal levels with the goal of obtaining Social Security disability benefits.

As a SSDI Appeals Specialist, the primary focus is serving as a liaison and advocate for claimants to ensure a fast and favorable outcome of their Social Security Disability claim. This position is responsible for the various aspects of the reconsideration and hearing process from educating the client to ensuring the claimant file is complete prior to the decision at reconsideration or scheduled hearing. We build and maintain trusted relationships with our clients by educating them on the Social Security appeal process and ensuring timely and accurate claim management.

OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years minimum of SSDI Hearing or paralegal appeals experience required
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to type and speak simultaneously
  • Salesforce or CRM experience preferred
  • Experience thriving in a fast paced, multi-task-oriented phone-based environment
  • Team player with a passion for helping people and demonstrating empathy & active listening skills

  • $20/hr, plus eligible for quarterly bonus program (The pay range provided a is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role. )
