Your missions

We provide a voluntary, out of hours service for the transportation of Urgent and Emergency items by motorcycle. We require fundraising coordinators to help to generate much needed funds to enable this free voluntary service to continue.

Our mission is to provide a totally free, but professional, voluntary service, out of normal working hours for the transportation of Urgent and Emergency items, in doing this we save money for the NHS which can be used for better patient care. Your fundraising activities will help us to ensure that we can continue to carry out this lifesaving work and also to spread the word about what we do.

What will you be doing?

We are constantly looking to strengthen our membership as the demands placed upon us to help the NHS continue to grow. The role of an Events Coordinator is invaluable and we are looking to support our team of fundraisers with three available coordinator roles.We are a registered Charity and our source of income to run the service we provide comes from donations or fundraising events. These events can range from a supermarket store collection or a bike event to a county show. We have opportunities open for Coordinators for the following areas in which the charity operates East (Blackburn, Burnley and East Lancs) Fylde (Blackpool and the Fylde Coast) West (Southport, Ormskirk, West Lancs) The Role You will be responsible for confirming our attendance and organising cover for fundraisers at various events that we are invited to within your area. You will be responsible for organising the logistics and provision of requirements such as gazebos, liveried bikes and merchandise. You will be responsible for arranging the attendance of speakers at organised talks in conjunction with the Talks Manager. You will also be responsible for communications with the Assistant Treasurer regarding incoming monies and for merchandise stock control in your area. The Person As Events and Talks Coordinator you must be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable and able to work as part of a team. Team work is crucial to our success within the charity. It is essential to possess good organisational skills as well as good interpersonal skills. Full induction will be provided along with ongoing support from the Area Manager and Fundraising Liaison. The opportunities are endless and the role is very fulfilling. Fundraising is a wonderful opportunity to meet lots of interesting people and raise awareness of what we do as well as raising essential funds. Often you will meet people that have been directly helped by the work we do and this can make the role just that little bit more rewarding. We seek responsible and committed individuals who thrive given a challenge and have the time to volunteer to support the NHS. Previous experience is an advantage though a full induction and ongoing support is provided. You will not be required to attend events alone.
