Volunteer Fundraising Lead | OneWig OneSmile at Reach Volunteering

Our Purpose To promote and protect the physical and mental health of people experiencing medical hair loss, in particular but not exclusively Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) group by the provision of free human hair wigs and hair pieces.

With your help, we can continue to provide real hair wigs to those who are experiencing medical hair loss, bur are unable to afford a true-to-life replacement.

What are we looking for?

The volunteer must have previous fundraising experience. Other Duties Monitoring and reviewing progress against fundraising targets and report to the management team on a monthly basis To take responsibility for the fundraising strategy and updating it regularly Agree income targets and other relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the management To ensure that fundraising volunteers are properly inducted, supported and encouraged

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a volunteer who has experience in Develop fundraising strategy and identifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts and grants from new trusts and foundations. Raising funds against agreed targets from a range of sources including individual donors, online channels, foundations, companies, business development opportunities, community groups and events. Researching, planning, delivering and growing all areas of fundraising; being responsible for identifying, engaging and asking potential donors for their support. Working with the team to create effective and persuasive fundraising materials Communicating with potential donors through a range of media including online via social media, in writing, by telephone, face-to-face meetings, formal presentations and networking events Adopt and improve existing fundraising methods and investigating new areas of fundraising; making recommendations to the management. Understanding and promoting tax effective giving. Awareness of and compliant with the Fundraising regulator and Institute of Fundraising standards of good practice. Where will you be working? Trustees and Volunteers can work entirely from home and we can consider remote candidates from across the UK When will you be working? Mostly during office hours. Out of office hours will also be considered.
