Your missions

We are looking for an experienced bid writer to help us apply for tenders with the Government and Local Authorities. Looking for people experienced with NEPO and SBS.

What difference will you make?

Your skills in securing tenders will help widen our community reach and have a greater impact on the deaf community. We have many project ideas that would greater serve this community by providing equal access to a range of services.

What are we looking for?

Ideally volunteers will have experience in Tendering for funding with other Charities or non-profits. Detailed knowledge of what funders are looking for in an application and what the process involves.

What will you be doing?

Deaf Empowering Network are a deaf-led organisation base in the North East of England. We have little to no experience dealing with tenders using NEPO, SBS and other potential tendering opportunities. We would like our volunteer to do the following - Signpost us to tendering opportunities. - Discuss procurement processes with our CEO and help writing/applying for tenders. - Meetings can be local or on Zoom and therefore this role is not location dependant.
