Volunteer UK Fundraising Trustee - Treasurer | Zimkids

Zimkids is a well-established UK registered charity, which works with our partner in Zimbabwe to break the cycle of poverty for vulnerable children and their families. We are looking for more Trustees to join our UK Board of Trustees.

What difference will you make?

You will be a vital part of a small, passionate and committed Trustee Board where you will see the direct impact of your fundraising. Your expertise will shape the future of Zimkids’ fundraising and thus the future of many vulnerable families in Zimbabwe.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for People with interest and/or experience in the charity sector. People ideally with fundraising experience or a passion for fundraising who could share ideas and innovative ways to raise funds and leverage existing/new networks. Main duties; Work alongside volunteer bookkeeper to provide quarterly finance updates and projections for the year/s ahead.

• Work with professional auditors yearly to ensure our accounts are audited and submitted to the charity commission.
• Liaise quarterly with UK Fundraising Coordinator to ensure you’re aware of fundraising target vs actual raised ahead of Trustee meetings.
• Keep on top of UK charity finance law to ensure we are compliant. What will you be doing?
