Job Description Summary

As Radio pharma & Core MI Category Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and management of Core Molecular Imaging (MI) and Isotopes category procurement needs of GE HealthCare Pharmaceutical Diagnostics’ (PDx). You will apply category management methodologists on spend in scope, including supplier/spend rationalization for tail end spend, act as a subject matter expert for its category and establish relationship with internal stakeholders including senior management . You will act on any escalation coming its way and put strategies in place to move from transactional reactive approach to mid-long term proactive approach. In addition, you will own growth and core molecular imaging projects such as sourcing initiative for the group, partnership and supplier development, IP negotiations and product manufacturing expansion plans.

You will work fully remote and you are based near our production site in Eindhoven.

Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Have full accountability for c$38m annual spend within the global category and lead the development and delivery of effective category strategies which drive transformational cost reduction at pace whilst balancing supply resilience;
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders, general managers, and product leaders as the principal figure and expert for all matters relating to the category, and establish effective communication governance and process to regularly update the senior leadership team on all aspects of category performance;
  • Plan and execute all strategic sourcing activities within the category, develop appropriate contracting frameworks to commercially capture the outputs, and manage all ongoing performance against live agreements;
  • Collaborate closely with procurement colleagues whilst acting as the lead negotiator and focal point for contracting – coordinating and aligning all activities within the category (eg supplier development / procurement engineering / dissemination of market knowledge);
  • Be accountable for developing and communicating procurement world class strategies for MI & Isotopes, supporting the delivery of global qualitative and quantitative targets;
  • Lead, manage and develop a global supply base that deliver business requirements across assurance of supply, quality, regulatory compliance, service, cost and innovation, for the categories in scope.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience at a global level of defining and delivering effective category strategies which achieved significant cost transformations whilst balancing supplier resilience;
  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry;
  • Evidence of establishing strong cross functional integration into the wider business;
  • Excellent communicator across all levels of an organization;
  • Experience in planning and leading complex and detailed global negotiations that have delivered significant outcomes;
  • Strong project management, analytical, and presentation skills;
  • Based near Eindhoven, able to visit our site on regular basis;
  • Fluent English.
