Eaton’s Electrical Sector Americas Division is seeking a National Accounts Director to join the team.  This role can be based in any Eaton location or be a fully remote position.

Essential Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Vice President Sales - Engineering Services, this person will direct and manage the activities of the Services National Accounts team toward achieving order, sales, profit and growth goals while continually improving quality and customer service levels within the group.

 

The National Account Director is responsible for defining, leading and managing comprehensive sales strategy, initiatives & programs in the team's key verticals - Hyperscale, MTDC, C&I and Utility. This person will develop an annual strategic plan and annual budget, while driving collaboration/sharing/teaming across the Eaton Services segment. The Director must also partner with other Eaton sales verticals to ensure our customer needs and growth objectives, especially with new customers, are met. This person will partner with Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) marketing and operations teams to define key processes around VOC, quote to cash flow, and operational excellence.


Essential Responsibilities:
•    Act as sales and marketing leader in conjunction with sales, manufacturing reps and operations management to ensure top line order and sales objectives are met
•    Provide strategy to identify and develop prospective new customers, keep current on trends and significant issues providing direction for the strategic planning process, ensure the team maintains effective relationships with and service to its customers in the target verticals
•    Develop processes and define responsibilities for national account team and regional sales teams, including ownership of greenfield versus brownfield opportunities and local engagement expectations of national accounts  
•    Review monthly forecasts and opportunity pipeline with accuracy to ensure the team meets these numbers on a monthly basis; create internal process efficiencies and improvements to drive communication and process standardization
•    Create and drive standard Voice of Customer processes, including leading customer QBRs 
•    Ensure an effective and skilled staff through recruiting, assessment of talent, training & development, goal setting, communications, performance appraisal, and conformance to applicable company policies and standards; provide leadership and direction to ensure professional growth for employees and retention within the region
•    Maintain budgetary responsibility for the team and manage sales teams throughout assigned region to ensure the effective allocation of company resources and assets
•    Develop strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders
•    Advise senior management of customer and competitive developments that impact sales growth and profitability and recommends strategies and decision options to counteract market pressures
•    Work closely with product divisions and across all sales verticals to implement strategies focused on the geographic, customer, industry and market needs

Basic Qualifications:
•    Minimum of five (5) years of sales of commercial experience within the electrical industry
•    Minimum of two (2) years of experience in management positions"
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

 

Education:
•    An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required
•    An advanced degree is preferred

The expected annual salary range for this role is $138461.22 - $203076.46 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.  Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
