Senior Software Integration Engineer (Remote)

Position Overview:
The Contingent Compensation team forecasts, calculates, pays, and issues disclosures related to royalty, revenue share, participation, buyout/bonuses, and other backend obligations.
The team's goal is to reduce manual processes in favor of tooling support in this space to drive operational efficiency at scale, improve the accuracy of calculations, improve the security of data (role management, client management), improve client experience, and ultimately mitigate the risk of financial misstatements/payments to participants. In order to do that, the team has decided to integrate with a third-party party Rights & Royalties tool.
The Content Controllership engineering team that provides technology support to the Contingent Compensation team is looking for a backend software engineer with extensive experience building third-party integrations to help us design, implement, test, and release the integration with the Rights & Royalties tool.
They will have to collaborate with other engineers to understand the ecosystem and data, with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand the requirements and scope of the integrations and complete the project in a 6-month timeframe.

Responsibilities:
Building end-to-end integration with a 3rd party Rights & Royalties tool including the design, implementation, testing, and release of the tool to internal users.
Identifying what data is needed in and out of the system, identifying where that data lives, and determining what transformations need to be made to onboard that data into the third-party tool.
Collaborate with engineers to design data in-out workflows and data transfer methods between internal systems and the 3rd party tool
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the integration serves their needs and that all features required in the third-party tool are enabled.
Requirements:
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent along with 7+ years of relevant industry experience in backend development.
4+ years of experience in building integrations with 3rd party tools including ERPs, CRMs, etc. Any experience on integrating with Rights & Royalties tools is a plus.
Experience working with Java and SBN.
Experience with multiple methods of data transfer.
Good communication skills to collaborate with other engineers and communicate with stakeholders.
