As Venterra continues to expand, we are on the lookout for a Graduate Engineer to join our Design Service Line. The Venterra Design Service Line incorporates the design and analysis of foundations and substations for Floating and fixed Offshore Wind, Monopiles and Jackets, T&I, Ports and Harbours, Onshore and Offshore substation design and Onshore Renewables. The selected candidate will be employed through Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) legal entity and will work from the Cork office.
Role Description:
As a graduate civil or geotechnical engineer, you will be working closely with a talented team of engineers and scientists to help us deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. You will work on a variety of our onshore projects across the infrastructure, energy and renewables sectors.Â

- Geotechnical, civil and structural design of renewable and infrastructure projectsÂ
- Site Supervision of ground investigationsÂ
- Site inspections and supervision of civil engineering projectsÂ
- Technical Report WritingÂ
- Supporting Senior Engineers with production of design drawings, specifications and bills of quantities and tender AssessmentsÂ
- Preparation of H&S documentationÂ
Expertise required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Proficient in design to Eurocode standardsÂ
- Excellent problem-solving skillsÂ
- Some experience in 3D design and modelling software (e.g. AutoCAD, Midas, Infodrainage, Revit) is desirableÂ
- A full clean driverâs licence.Â
Education/Qualifications:
- Honours or higher degree in civil engineering.Â
