We are looking for a Global Solution Architect for HPEFS This role will requires global subject matter expertise of HPEFS financing and asset management offers and capabilities.  The role is typically engaged during the deal pursuit phase and may require attending customer face to face meetings.  With a focus on deal management activities the SA will manage contract negotiations and ensure that the appropriate internal approvals are obtained for any changes outside of our Field Negotiation Guide and in compliance with the HPEFS Schedule of Authorization.  This may include leading the response to large and complex customer RFPs and RFIs working closely with the sales team.

This is a teleworker role and can be based anywhere within the United States.

The core SA role will have or will develop expertise in the following areas:

  • Direct Financing
  • Digital Solutions
  • Service Provider Solutions (important for this posting)
  • Legal Contract Negotiations
  • Asset Management Solutions
  • Integrated/Combo Deals with both Financing and Asset Management features
  • Embedded Lease Structures supporting DaaS, MPS and Greenlake deals

Candidates for this role should be technically savvy and be comfortable working with and interpreting data and reports.  They should possess the ability to multi-task and project manage multiple ongoing deals at one time.  They should be able to present both internally and externally on our offers and capabilities and be comfortable training and educating our HPEFS Sales teams on complex solution design.  In addition, the role will be responsible for document the Solution Design and facilitating a handoff to the Service Excellence Organization for execution. 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically 7 years experience in complex financial and/or asset management deal structuring.
  • University degree with related major.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of corporate policies, processes, products, and markets.

Desirable SA candidate knowledge and skills include:

  • A ‘can do’ attitude with a real desire to focus on this specific segment and product set to progress their career is an absolute must.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • An understanding of accounting principles and how financing structures interact with these principles for our customers. To include derecognition and revenue recognition principles
  • An understanding of the legal, commercial (inc pricing principles) and asset risks inherent within the various structures and how these may be mitigated
  • Ability and willingness to review, understand and provide opinion on documentation to relevant internal stakeholders including legal and risk is a pre- requisite.  There is a need to work independently and to form a supportable opinion based upon a sound understanding of presented documentation
  • Demonstratable track record in negotiating with senior internal stakeholders and to confidently engage to highlight key risk areas and mitigants – to be a thought leader looking to develop the product further
  • Demonstrable track record of negotiating sometimes complex documentation with customers, including their professional advisors (ideally experience in dealing with customer auditors and legal counsel)
  • Flexibility to work as part of a wider team, ability to cover more than one graphical area if needed.  Experience with a number of jurisdictions from a legal framework perspective would be beneficial

USD Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
